What We Do Not See Is Angel Song

What We Do Not See Is Angel Song

By Mary Dezember

What we do not see
Are the vibrations fine-tuned
We call
Kindness,
The quick incanting.

If we listen closely
We might say,

This is angel song

A cryptic spontaneous
Melody
Born in
Hearts beating
And in breath
Of eternal living.

We begin
To interpret this personal
Ethereal gift
While walking the
Arcane Lane

For this is the pulse of
Breath that continues
Beyond the breathing
To a place we think of as

Forever.

These vibrations are the
Generosity
Of a gentle soul —

Selflessness —

What we do see
As a smile
And what we
Experience
As a friend’s gift of time
And creation of space

For us
To sing
So that
We can be

The angels called
Poets.
